a. Must be
a citizen of the United States of America;
b. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age;
c. Must be registered to vote in and have resided within
the municipality or village in which he or she is to represent
for a period of thirty (30) days immediately preceding the
date of the election at which he or she is a candidate;
d. Must continue to reside in the municipality or village
throughout his or her term in office; and
e. Pursuant to P.L. 26-171, must not have been convicted
of a felony, and must not have been convicted of a misdemeanor
involving criminal sexual conduct or crime of moral turpitude.
